About Me
My name is Lacey Ozburn, although most people in West Feliciana know me as Lacey Trisler. I grew up in the lovely little town of St. Francisville, graduating from West Feliciana High School. After graduation, I attended Lousiana Tech University, where I met my husband and earned a BS in Clinical Kinesiology and Health Promotion. From there, I moved to Austin, TX, to attend the Univerisity of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, earning my Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Long story short, after completing my schooling, getting married, and having kiddos of my own, I could not wait to get my family back to my hometown.
The driving forces behind this crazy venture of starting my own business are those two little girls in the picture. The time away from my girls made motherhood and our home life so much harder than it needed to be. In addition, I was completely unfulfilled working in in-network clinics and hospital settings. It was seven years of battling against the billing expectations of insurance companies and compromising patient quality of care and ethical decision-making to meet those expectations. I decided the only way to be happy and fulfilled as a therapist and mom was to have my own practice. The best of both worlds, allowing me to provide exceptional care to my patients and being there for my kids whenever they need me. Thus, Hometown PT was formed. I couldn't be more excited to have the opportunity to serve the good people of East and West Feliciana parishes.
