Does Hometown PT take insurance?
To best serve you and provide high-quality care without restrictions, I have decided to be out-of-network with insurance. Below are a list of reasons why seeing an out-of-network provider can also benefit you.
01
Cost Effective and No Surprise Bills
Navigating the costs of physical therapy can be confusing. On average, patients may pay between $25-$125 per visit, 2-3 times a week! In-network providers are required by insurance to submit billing based on confusing variations of "timed" and "untimed" codes that vary the cost of each visit. This is why high deductibles can lead to unexpected bills after all insurance claims have been submitted. Being out-of-network allows me to offer transparent pricing—no surprise expenses here! My cash-pay options ensure you receive high-quality care without hidden fees. Visit my website for clear and concise information on our services and pricing.
02
I Want to Be in Contract with You
As a physical therapist, your needs and goals are my top priority. By opting to be an out-of-network provider, I can deliver customized treatment free from insurance restrictions. This approach enables me to fully apply my skills and expertise, ensuring you receive the best possible care designed just for you. I would rather be in contract with you, my patient, and utilize my skills and expertise without the limitations of insurance.
03
One-on-One Treatment
Not all, but most in-network clinics have to utilize a shared treatment approach, meaning you will likely be scheduled with another 1-2 patients during your treatment visit. This is another reason why I have chosen not to take insurance. This will allow me to provide one-on-one treatment to all my patients each visit.
What if I have out-of-network benefits?
At Hometown PT, I understand that many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits. If you choose Hometown PT for physical therapy services, you will need to pay for your services at the time of your appointment. Upon request, a detailed bill that includes treatment codes can be provided, which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Please remember that it is your responsibility to understand your insurance benefits and submit any reimbursement claims. I recommend contacting your insurance provider beforehand to get more information on the claims process.
What if I have Medicare?
At this time, I do not accept Medicare for physical therapy services. If you are looking for a provider who does, I would be happy to assist you in finding one. If you are interested in the wellness services through Hometown Physical Therapy, feel free to contact me.
